Operating College-wide, WestMAC Library Services offers resources, research, advice and support to students and staff in matters of information access, information literacy, digital literacy and critical literacy. The Library Services team, who operate from two library buildings - the Claridge Centre Library and Junior School Library - also share a passion for literature and reading advocacy, with the extensive collection providing options to entice readers of all ages and interests.
The WestMAC Library Services team recognise that contemporary library services provide access to both physical and digital resources, with an aim to strike a balanced collection.
Our library management system, Concord Infiniti, provides seamless access to a range of online materials as well as information about the location of all available Library resources. The Infiniti library catalogue is available anytime, anywhere to all students and staff of the College, via the Library Services page on NEST (use your regular WestMAC login).
Digital library services include instant access to resources such as digital video, journals, newspapers and magazines via databases, digital encyclopedias, ebooks and audiobooks. All digital services can be accessed from home or school using regular WestMAC login (unless otherwise identified), and include:

WestMAC provides textbooks and resources for students through the Textbook Hire and Resources Scheme in a digital-first format for Years 7-12; families are not required to purchase textbooks.
Please note: physical textbooks and library resources are loaned to students on the understanding that they will take responsibility for them for the duration of the loan. Any item that is lost or returned damaged will incur charges. Replacement costs are added to term accounts. Damage can include but is not limited to water (or other liquid), mould, strong odour, torn cover and/or pages, dog-chewed (or other animals), markings or graffiti.
Claridge Centre Library and Junior School Library house self-service multifunction printers/ photocopiers for use by students and staff. Printers are also available in multiple locations across the College.
